Bill Alhfield
BILL AHLFIELD has been the Service Manager at Duffy’s Auto Sales for 8 years.
“I grew up on a farm, so I’ve always been around cars, motorcycles and four-wheelers.”
Bill is an an avid outdoorsman and vintage car enthusiast who also enjoys traveling, fantasy football and a variety of sports.
On days off from his busy schedule at Duffy’s, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife Kim and four children at their home in Ottawa.
Originally from West Salem, Bill is a graduate of Edwards County High School, a short distance from his hometown in the southeastern area of Illinois.
Chad Timmons
CHAD TIMMONS helps keep our customers’ cars in top running condition working as a technician at the Duffy’s Auto Sales location in Ottawa. He has been with the company five years.
An outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
Chad and Stacy, his wife of 28 years, live in Oglesby. They have two children, ages 18 and 26, and are also proud grandparents.
He grew up in LaSalle and attended LaSalle-Peru High School.
Shannon Baker
SHANNON BAKER is a detailer at the Duffy’s Auto Sales in Peru. He has been with the company nine years.
“I enjoy the challenges of making our cars look their best,.Detailing is a form of art and is something I have enjoyed perfecting for a long time.”
Shannon has five children ranging from 6 to 21 years old. He enjoys watching high school football and many other activities with his sons.
Shannon is originally from DePue, Illinois.
Ted Fabish
TED FABISH has been a mechanic and technician 37 years and employed at Duffy’s Auto Sales four years. He keeps our customers’ cars in top shape at the company’s Ottawa location.
Ted began his long career as a mechanic in 1980 when he joined the U.S. Army and became a wheeled vehicle mechanic.
‘My first car was a 1969 Chevy Impala that always broke down. That was my introduction to the automobile repair business. I love my job now as much as I did 37 years ago.”
Ted has been certified by the Institute of American Service Excellence as a master technician in all eight categories for 20 years.
He is an active member of the Ottawa American Legion Post 33.
He has been married to his wife Robin for 26 years. They enjoy spending time with their two children, two grandchildren and Diva, their German Shepherd.
Ted is a graduate of Lockport High School.
Javier Sanchez
JAVIER SANCHEZ has found his niche at Duffy’s Auto Sales where he enjoys detailing cars at the company’s Ottawa location.
“I have been working on cars since I was 11 years old and enjoy every minute of it, I’m just a big gear head.”
Indeed, even on his time off, you might find him painting and riding motorcycles, attending weekend automobile shows and repairing cars.
Javier grew up in Streator.
Jose Ramirez
An experienced mechanic, JOSE RAMIREZ helps our customers keep their cars running smoothly at the Duffy’s Auto Sales location in Ottawa. He has been with the company eight years.
“I started out detailing cars, and worked my way up fixing cars. It’s been my dream to be a mechanic.’
Originally from Leon, Mexico, Jose enjoys spending time with his wife Kristin and their three children, ages 10, 12 and 13.
He also enjoys grilling and cooking on his smoker, and attends Open Table United Church of Christ in Ottawa.
Jose and his family live in Ottawa.
Juan Limon
JUAN LIMON has been with Duffy’s Auto Sales for six years. He works as a detailer at the company’s Peru location.
“I like attention to detail in my work, so detailing cars is very gratifying.”. He attended the Industrial Technologies and Services Studies Center, a prestigious high school in Durango, Mexico.
Juan enjoys spending time with his wife of 18 years, Martha, and their son, Luis, who is 17 years old.
He also enjoys landscaping and attending a local Catholic church. Juan and his family live in Ottawa.
Mitchel Benitez
MITCHEL BENITEZ is an interior detailer at the Duffy’s Auto Sales location in Ottawa. He has been with the company four years.
He is passionate about his work because, as he says, “every detail counts.”
Mitchel enjoys playing with his dog, Max, and on his days off enjoys fishing, hiking, grilling, and attending Chicago White Sox games and concerts.
Originally from Plano, Illinois, he lives in Naplate.
